silent, but sticky

"Police were sent to a home in the 1000 block of North Osburn Avenue Wednesday morning after a man poured syrup on a woman's head.

Officers arrived about 8 a.m. and met with the 35-year-old victim.

She told police the man, whose relationship was not indicated in a partial police report, woke up about 7:30 a.m. and was angry for some reason, began arguing with her and then doused her head with syrup."
