Looking out of my third story window, it appears

that there is a group of power lines held together by a shoe string.
that the power line poles could serve as handy ladders in case of a fire in my house.
that the man across the street used to be a gardner, but now all his plants are dead.
that the public bath is open, because there is steam wafting from the chimney.
that no one looks up.
