the laughing buddha pumpkin

While most people at the Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza gave their Jack-o-lanterns traditionally scary faces, I bestowed upon my orange gourd the Japanese/Chinese character for “laugh.” Despite a minor mishap because of which a section of the mouth is larger than it should be, it looks kindof like a laughing face, doesn’t it?
