There’s a squirrel trying to hide his nuts in the underside of my neighbor’s car. He’s searching for just the right nook between the pipes into which he can carefully place his food for spring. I applaud the squirrel’s ingenious use of modern technology to further his age-old habits, but I wonder if he’ll have an easier time remembering the make and model of this car than he did the characteristics of the hole in which he buried his nuts last year.
