There were three or four people standing in front of the dairy section at Kroger exchanging puzzled glances. I walked up to grab some milk and suddenly understood why - all the half gallons were marked with big orange stickers that said "25 cents." What was wrong with the milk that they would sell it so cheaply?

We lingered around proposing theories until a Kroger employee came over and cleared it up. "We had too many and they expire in four days, that's all."
