home again

I'm not even at Poultry Days yet and it's already been a crazy week. Going home is always busy. It was made even more hectic by the thunderstorms which came through and shut down the power in my mom's apartment for a good six hours. I had to read by candlelight! But at least I did get to read - a lovely relaxing thing I hadn't gotten to lately. The Golden Compass series is very, very good.
