And we wondered, what made Sam's great-great-aunt use fabric featuring an arrow-riddled buffalo? That poor buffalo is jabbed with arrows and standing right between two prickly cacti. Not too happy sounding.Somehow, that quilt is no longer quite as comforting.

such revisionist history... i discovered that print!
That looks more like a bull than a buffalo to me. I think it ties in with the Mexican/Spanish theme of the rest of the print. Bull fighting, and when they poke the bull with the small decorated spear things. But that's just my 2 pesos.
