view from the back porch

Just off of my back porch is a lovely tree/bush with beautiful purple flowers which, like morning glories, bloom during the day and fold up at night. As the summer progressed, I noticed that a vine of some sort had begun to grow like a net over this tree and the neighboring one. Last week, that vine bloomed, giving the green tree a feathery coat of tiny, white, fragrant blossoms.

This morning I went outside and noticed something odd. The tree was suddenly a few feet farther from the porch. Whether it was the weight of the vine with its flowers or something else, I do not know, but the slender trunks which supported the tree are now bent over, causing the tree to droop away from the house. I do hope it does not break.
