In order to be eligible for an Unemployment Deferment on my Federal Direct Loans, I need to be able to prove that I am diligently looking for full time work, either by having my resume on an employment site like monster.com or by working with a placement agency. I've done the latter before and they were no help, so I decided to put my resume on the internet and see what would come of it.

It has been less than 24 hours since I posted my resume and I already have emails and phone calls from four recruitment agencies looking to possibly place me with Japanese companies. Who knows whether or not I'll actually get a job this way, but even if I don't this is an option I should have tried months ago. Silly me.
