If you didn't know me better, you'd think I was a housewife. Here's what I do with my days:
Get up, make a cup of tea, and read the internet
Put away dishes and tidy up the house
Practice koto and sanshin or go to yoga
Make lunch
Do dishes
Clean whatever needs cleaning
Go to the post office, the grocery, the library, or wherever needs going
Work on my newest "project"
Make dinner
My latest projects have included sewing buttons on all clothing missing buttons, transforming a pair of pajama pants into a skirt (hand sewn), and researching my genealogy.
Of course, throughout all this, I am also scouring newspaper ads for job opportunities, but there are slim pickings. I could probably very easily get used to this housewifey life, but I don't think Sam wants to give me an allowance to buy new shoes and go on trips.
