hoosierland

After the near-miss during last week's roadtrip, I was especially diligent in paying attention to wildlife on this week's jaunt down to Indiana. It is impossible, however, to avoid an animal that you can't see until it hits your windshield. The result was the probable death of a small bird, possibly blue-ish in color, which my eyes barely registered as it flew into and bounced out of my view in a split second. I am sorry little bird.

Other than this minor tragedy, things went well, and I returned home safely having listened to two audio books, gone shopping, visited with relatives, watched my brother graduate, and eaten more fast food in two days than I had in the past two months.

What is it with you and birds?

Your truck must have picked up some sort of accidental stealth properties.
