Happy New Year! It is now officially the year of the tiger. Unfortunately, I have no tigers nearby to photograph. Instead, you see a photo of the ducks our New Year's Party hostess raises. Her ducks came up to the porch door to say hello this morning, hung out for awhile by the house, and then paraded back to their little house.
We had a lovely New Year's Eve under the blue moon in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin. It was the perfect sort of place that you need four wheel drive to get to, the heat comes from a wood-burning stove, and there are dogs running around everywhere. The people were very nice too.
