progress

So, we decided we needed to start work on the garage sooner than we expected.  Instead of tearing down the old garage and rebuilding in the same spot, we decided that for ease of access and maximization of south-facing lawn, we would have it built on the other corner of our yard.  This means that the old garage is still standing as our new garage is being built.  It makes for a crowded backyard.

The second day of the process, I decided it would be fun to take a photo every day to show the progress.  Here are the first four days summed up in two photos (day one was just digging out the yard a bit, days two and three are the same thing with and without wood around the cement, and day four is letting the concrete sit.)  Once the concrete is ready to go, the real fun will begin.
