happy birthday, millie!

We don't know the exact date of Millie's birth, so we say it is approximately around the first of February.  Sam remembered on the day, but I forgot.  So a few days late, we say Happy Birthday to Millie, who is now three years old and slowly moving away from the teenage years of her life.

In honor of Millie's birth and her progress in learning tricks over the past year, I offer this set of photos taken by a function on my camera that I did not understand.  If you follow the photos as if you're reading Japanese (from the top right, moving down), you will see Millie in the act of eating a treat placed on her nose.

I think my favorite is the 2nd from the left on the bottom row.  She looks crazy!
