*The problem with being halfway across the world is that no matter how many times you check your email during the day, your friends are too asleep to have written.
*The Japanese make a day of climbing Daimonji Mountain, packing their backpacks with snacks and lunches. I make it a fifteen minute run up and a hop, skip, and a bound down.
*I rolled out my heated carpet this afternoon. Right after vacuuming it I turned on the “Flea Buster” setting. If any little bug was hiding away in the fibers, he has now been burned alive. Yay!
