Oho, and I know where Mr. Bush is staying. I rode past it today on my bicycle. It’s a lovely five star hotel right downtown, and although none of the newspapers has said where exactly he is, all you have to do is glance in that direction to figure it out. I mean, how many hotels in Kyoto have thirty policeman sauntering around within one hundred yards of their front doors? In addition, the excessive number of sparkling clean tour buses, taxis, and luxurious cars parked in front might tip some people off.
This also explains the patrolling of the river I met with yesterday, as the hotel is situated not one block from the newly tidied Kamo River. I hope the President enjoys his view.
