yin and yang

While we all know the famous pairs of words like “peanut butter and jelly,” “peas and carrots,” and “bacon and eggs,” I am told that the Japanese language has no such equivalent.

I’m tempted to create some:
kimono to obi
jinja to torii” (shrine and gate)
sushi to ocha” (sushi and green tea)
okonomiyaki to mayonnaise

But they just don’t have the same ring.
