hiking with a muki

Four years ago, I went hiking in Kyushu with five of my friends from the KCJS study abroad program. The trek was incredible, filled with ropes and rickety ladders, waterfalls, foggy cliffs, and beautiful sunrises. I ran across Sonia’s account of “Hiking With a Muki,” and thought you might be interested in taking a trip down memory lane with me to a time when my experience in Japan was only two months old.
