a bunch of hoo-ha

I traveled up to an ultimate tournament in Milwaukee this weekend with Hoot’nanny, a coed team from Bloomington. Our jerseys were cut off plaid shirts and most of our cheers referred to billboards in rural Wisconsin promoting guns. While the outfits alone should have won us the tournament, unfortunately, our playing only left us with a 2-4 record. However, what we lacked in skill and working togetherness, we made up for in enthusiasm for beer and Jelly Bellies. As our captain put it, what could be better than bookending our tournament with singles’ night at the grocery on one end, and a trip to the Jelly Belly warehouse store on the other?
