I should have known better to ride my bike through campus during freshman orientation, but there I was trying not to run over anyone attending the Culture Fest, when I heard someone yell, "Hey! Hey, you! Hey!" Having figured out she meant me, I stopped. She asked, "Do you have any interest in playing sports for IU?" "I already play, thanks." She looked disappointed. Apparently, I look good enough riding my bike through crowds of people to be recruited for an athletic team. Nifty, eh?
