Most of the time when using the bathroom at a trucker rest stop, I am entertained by scribbles of "Angela + Tony forever" or "for a good time call 555-6723" or some such nonsense. Driving up to Milwaukee, however, I encountered bathroom graffiti of an entirely different sort: religious theory.
The entire door of my bathroom stall was a debate on certain Christian beliefs. It started with a simple, "Believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved!" and spread out in a circular pattern from there. "Jesus was just a man!" "Mary + God = Jesus. Joseph had no part in it!" "The King James Version is the only true version of the bible. The rest are all heresy." "The true bible was written in Hebrew and Greek." "Men wrote the bible, not God." And on and on and on. I can only imagine the dozens of women who quoted bible verses vehemently in scratching pens and streaking markers while sitting on the toilet.
