Yesterday had such amazing weather that Deb, her houseguests, and I decided to spend it outside on the grounds of Bloomington's Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center, which is also the home of the Kumbum Chamtse Ling temple and the Dalai Lama's brother. The grounds were perfect for a stroll; bare vegetation was interspersed with stupas (chorten in Tibetan), yerts, and the temple, all framed in a perfect blue sky. We tried our hand at the singing bowls in the gift shop, but decided that the singing birds outside did a much better job.
