Sam and I got back from Thanksgiving travels on Saturday evening. On Sunday, as we were bumming around in our apartment, a U-Haul pulls up in our driveway and someone starts unloading. Of course, we spy on the process from our window. We were confused, because as far as we knew, no one in our building had moved out. Where was this new person going?
Finally, I stepped out into the hallway and "ran into" the new tenant. She introduced herself and said she was moving into the third floor apartment. I asked if she was a new roommate of the old tenants. No, she said, they moved out.
What?! We leave for Thanksgiving break and our neighbors move out?! There wasn't even an indication that they would be leaving! Alas, our connection for Bell's beer from Kalamazoo has been lost.
