freecycle

During the packing process, I often come across things I had forgotten I owned. Usually these are books at the bottom of unopened boxes or clothes at the back of my closet. This time I've also found some other random amusing items, such as

The Fortune Telling Fish
Twenty or so blue and red ribbons from high school cross country races
Pencil sketches of my dog that I drew when I was in eighth grade
My broken Japanese-English electronic dictionary
Ten cassettes of exercises to go along with "Learn Japanese, volume 4"
A button that goes to a coat I gave away last year
Two prom dresses with matching shoes

Most of the stuff I find that I don't want anymore I try to give away on Freecycle, and most (even my broken dictionary) find a new home with someone. Yay for keeping even the most random things out of the dump!

Did you get rid of your XC ribbons? Ahhh... Memories.
