our new home

I'm still tired from moving and my brain isn't working properly, so I'm going to follow Sam's example and write this post in blurb form.

- We have safely moved to La Crosse. No one has frostbite from unpacking the moving truck in -18 degree weather, and no one has passed out in our 76 degree hotbox of an apartment (the overactive radiators are being looked into).

- We're already annoyed with some neighbors whose smoking habit is seeping into a closet and our living room.

- I have a built-in wine/tea cabinet with stained glass windows.

- The public library is soon to become our second home, if we don't get the internet set up soon.

- I walked two blocks to the co-op this morning and got breakfast from their bakery - a white chocolate raspberry scone, an almond croissant, and a cinnamon roll. Fabulous.

I'll try to post some pictures sometime in the next week.

nice - total co-op breakfast jealousy. I started a blog too! It's not as chatty as yours, but you might find it interesting. Presbyteriansandpraisechoruses
