tiny things
If you haven't noticed by now, my favorite kinds of photographs are close-ups. Landscapes are nice, too, but I really like the tiny things. This photo is from the Hoh Rainforest, where everything is so moist that fungus, moss, and a plethora of other plant life grow right on top of each other. I don't know what this little trumpet-like thing is, but it was hanging out on this dead tree branch, enjoying the nourishment.
