home cooking

*Breakfast: Oatmeal with cranberries, and pumpkin bread

*Lunch: Leftover southern style mixed with brown rice in a fried rice sort of dish

I love combining things, especially things that have no business being combined.

*Dinner: Salad with feta, pomegranate seeds, and spinach; walnut burger; homemade french fries; cauliflower

There's an inn and restaurant in Trempealeau up the river that makes a tasty walnut burger. They sell packs of them frozen at the co-op too, and we've gotten them twice. The first time we cooked them they fell apart. This time, they burned. Perhaps we'll just have to go back to the restaurant where they know how to cook them up right.
