Also a gift from a friend, we were told these we Hungarian peppers and "not hot."  Whatever they may be, they're definitely not mild.  Sam's been sneaking them into dishes I would not image ever experienced the presence of a hot pepper, but they and we have survived.

The neighboring jalepeno plant is going ganbusters and many have turned red before we've even had a chance to pick them.  The Big Chilies, however, are not living up to their name, and have yet to make a significant appearance.
