I've attended exactly two professional soccer games in my life, one in Kansas City and one in Osaka. Well, assuming all the transactions went through as promised, I will add another one to that list in June 2014.
That's right, folks, Sam and I will be going to a World Cup game in Salvador, Brazil next year. I'd better start following soccer and learning Portuguese!

Whoa! That's so exciting! Why?
Why go to a World Cup game in Brazil? Why not? We've both wanted to get to South America, and Sam's wanted to go to a World Cup game, so it just made sense.
Don't worry, we won't just fly in and out. We'll be spending a decent amount of time in the jungle and on the beach and other such fun places.
