on a stick

I'm volunteering for the Illinois State Fair. I drive the Horsemen from the Horse Barns to the Paddock, back and forth and back and forth. This morning I had a nice little chat with a farmer from western Illinois.

Him: How much you gettin' paid for this gig?
Me: I'm volunteering.
Him: Well, while you're here you should really try out the Pork Chop on a Stick.
Me: I'll make sure to do that.
Him: Hell, why don't we just go get one now? That way I don't have to tip ya!

And that's how I drove the Horseman Paddock Van off of the directed route over to the Pork Stall, and ate a Pork Chop on a Stick with a farmer.
