garden bounty, the first

The hand-written seed envelope said "carnival squash," but the carnival squash I know is long and skinny.  These guys are squat, with yellow on the upper two-thirds and a developing carnival coloring on the bottom one-third.  Honestly, I don't care what they are as long as they are tasty; I have at least eight on the way.
